This week, students will be taking the Trimester Two pre-test of commonly
misspelled words. Since this is a pre-test, it will have no impact on
student grades. The spelling portion will be given one day and the
definition portion the next.
Word
Study 2.1 test will be taken on Tuesday. The original date for the test was Friday
December 14th, but it was rescheduled due to the 3 Mile reward trip.
We are wrapping up our “How to Write a Body Paragraph”
lessons. Students will be asked to turn in their final body paragraph before
break.
Reading Skill
This week’s lessons center on character development. We continue to
practice the use of context clues, but our lessons will be exploring how
characters develop and change in response to event in their novels.
