Language Arts
Homework for ALL students: Read for at least 20 minutes, every night!
NOTICE! I embedded quite a few educational games on the right-hand side of this blog. Games are a great way to study!

Last week we explored basic paper introductions. This week I will be modeling, and the students will be exploring, attempting, and mastering the body paragraphs.

Reading Skill
We are currently working on ways to record our reading pages and time with sticky notes. We are exploring the four ways to use context clues while we read.
Under the heading, “Games” is a game labeled “Context Clues”. Playing this game will help to strengthen students’ ability to use context clues to better understand what they read.

Please note that grades have been added to PowerSchool. These grades are for participation and class preparedness. If a student has an ‘ex’ in the grade spot, they were absent or otherwise excused from the task. If there is a ‘0’, they were unprepared or did not participate in the class assignment.
