Daily Homework for ALL students: Read for at least 20
minutes, every night!
Monday: Language Arts
All this week we will
be learning about Active Reading. Currently we are work on showing our thinking
while taking notes. Later in the week I will be modeling and the students will
be learning how to use the information they recorded while reading an article
and use it to write a summary or reaction to the article.
As usual, Word Study
words(1.5) were handed out on Monday and will be tested on Friday. The list of
word can be found on the right-hand side of this blog.
Monday: Reading Skills: AS ALWAYS student need to read at least 20 minutes EACH

Genre study continues
J We will also
be learning strategies good readers use to understand the text they are reading.
