Monday – Word Study 3.3 was handed out and will be tested on Friday.
Tuesday – While reading their fiction novels, students will be asked to find between 3 and 5 unknown words whose meaning can be determined using context clues. They will then write the unknown word and the page # it is on, the sentence that helped them figure out what it meant, and lastly what they decided the word means.
Students are able to choose their grade. Assuming the overall effort is high, they will earn
- 7/10 pts = 3 words
- 8/10 pts = 4 words
- 10/10 pts = 5 words
Thursday – continue Wednesday's work.
Friday – Test Word Study 3.3: Redo, Re-teach and READ!!
