With Christmas break just around the corner, it is easy for students to get "break-itis", a well known condition (at least to teachers) where students claim, and often believe, "nothing is happening in school this week". Not so! :)
NOTICE: Class novels need to be completed by Friday, Dec. 16. Many student have finished their novel, but some need to spend time at home reading. Also, as usual, we have a word study test on Friday.
Continuing our Characters with Character unit, this week we will be exploring how authors make historical fiction characters believable and how they use historical events to create an interesting and plausible plot.
If not already turned in, Wordle's on novel character are overdue!
