Update!!!! I was out sick Monday and Tuesday. The noun and verb sheets were collected Thursday. I also collected the genre work (done in the media center)on Thursday. All genre booklets are due Monday!
Monday - We will take our diagnostic parts of speech test. It will not be recorded for a grade since it is formative (allows me to know where the student's skills need extra help). We will also have lessons on nouns and verbs. The noun and verb worksheets will be due Tuesday.
Tuesday - Word study 1.2 will be handed out and Mr. Frasier will explore another way to study for word study/vocabulary. I will be continuing our "formal/informal" lessons and another group will be taking a genre formative test. All students will rotate through the three stations.

Wednesday - Genre Scavenger Hunt in the Media Center.
Thursday - Begin genre booklet. Students that tested out of genres on the formative exam will be doing independent enrichment projects of their choice.
Friday - Word Study 1.2 test, Continue with genre booklets/enrichment, and Silent Sustained Reading
