Week of December 9th

I apologize for the mix-up on last week's vocabulary quizlet. I accidentally switched the 7th and 8th grade lists! oops. It was fixed on Wednesday after a student brought it to my attention. (Thanks Jake!)

We continue to work on reading informational text and responding to short answer questions. Student will be asked to read a short passage, highlight the important information and respond in writing. The written response will need support from the text.

Example Question

Is Title an appropriate title for the passage? Use three details from the passage to support your response.

Students will have passages with questions in their binders if you wish to see the real deal.

By the end of the week, students will be expected to read a passage and respond in a logical manner which includes evidence from the passage.
