Welcome to 7th grade Language Arts! It is hard to believe but it is time to begin the new year!
I am looking forward to a fun and productive year.In order to prepare for the new school year, it would be helpful if your student had the following supplies:
- Binder with dividers
- Blue/black and red pens (or really any color in addition to blue/black)
- Pencils
- Correction tape (we all make mistakes!)
- Lined paper
- A smiling face : )
This year we will be participating in the AR program. Many of you are familiar with this program, if you are not, be sure to ask your student to tell you all about it in the weeks to come.
Word Study Lists are handed out (and posted on the right-hand side of this blog) on Monday; I review the words on that day. The test is on Thursday. If a student doesn’t pass the test, he/she may retake it for up to a 70% .
HINT!
If you look on the right-hand side of this blog, you will see a folder
named "Word Study Lists", inside that folder are word study tests for
the whole year!
