Spring has definitely sprung! Students and adults alike are restless to be outdoors, but we need to keep our focus for a couple more months.
Since I am aware of all the distraction students have in the Spring, I am structuring classwork in such a way that it can be completed in class. If a student makes poor choices during class, they will be expected to complete the work at home. The one exception to the in-class work, will be Word Study. Student still need to study for Friday's if they expect to do their best.
Monday – Since Friday was an unexpected day off, students took their Word Study 3.1 test today. Word Study 3.2 was handed out and will be tested on Friday.
Tuesday – We are double checking our introductions. An example of the SILLY persuasive essay is on this blog. Please remember, the essay is not meant to be taken seriously!
Wednesday – We will be working on the silly persuasive body paragraphs.
Thursday – continue Wednesday's work.
Friday – Test Word Study 3.2: Redo, Re-teach and READ!!
