The end of our second trimester is Friday, March 9th. This means that all make-up work is due no later than the 9th of March! Word Study tests may be taken/retaken in advisory on Monday, Thursday or Friday or in homework club. I will be holding homework club on Wednesday AND Thursday after school again this week. Students are encouraged to sign up for either or both days. The sign-up slip is on my front board, AND busing is available!
Monday – we will be discussing the importance of audience when choosing reasons to include in an argumentative essay. Notes on RENNS will be given.
Tuesday – Working alone and in groups, students will determine, Which essay is the most persuasive? They will use RENNS to determine and prove their opinion.

Thursday – The best persuasive essay (essays) will be chosen and shared
Friday – Redo, Re-teach and READ!!
