Monday = Survey - the state of Michigan asks us to survey our students yearly. The survey took about 45 minutes. Who knew the state could be so inquiring!
Tuesday = Students will be finishing Student Led Conference folders.
Conferences are Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:30-7:00.
Word Study 2.5 lists will also be handed out.Lastly, we will be reading a short passage for one minute. The purpose of this timed reading is to get a baseline reading rate on each student. They will need to read 250 words per minute to finish the ACT in high school. We cannot develop a plan for improvement until we know where the student are.
Wednesday = Groups will be given time to work on their dramas.
Thursday = After our Quick Write, we will be introducing nouns. Students will need to complete the practice sheet at home. noun homework will be due Friday the 29th
The rest of the hour will be used for drama group work.
Friday = Word Study test 2.5
Quiz on nouns. If passed, students will move on to verbs; if not passed they will continue to work on nouns.
The rest of the hour will be devoted to drama group work.
