With Halloween behind us and Student Led Conferences in front of us, this week will be a full one!
Monday - we received our Word Study words. Take a look on the left side of this entry for the words and definitions. Note Hours one and two have a different list than hours three and seven.
We also took a formative quiz on the elements of a mystery. Those grades will be posted tomorrow.
Tuesday - We learned a new Reading Strategy = Making connections. This will be the focus of our Literature Circles for the next month or so. Novel must be finished by Nov, 16!
Wednesday - Student Led Conferences are coming!( Tuesday, November 10th and 12th) We will be doing a word study activity and getting ready for conferences :)
Thursday - Literature Circle Day and exploring the rules for punctuating dialogue.
Friday - We have two tests! The first is our word study test and the second is the unit exam on the essential elements of a Mystery.
