We're Back!

It is great to be back :) It seems the decision to create a four day weekend was a good one. We have very few students absent (at least in my class) and more importantly, the ones here look much healthier. Please remember, students should not return to school until they have been fever free, without medicine, for 24 hours. They are still contagious for that time period.

We took our last MEAP today, although some students still have make-up exams. At last, we will be on a normal schedule! MEAP, illnesses, and the school closure took a toll on our schedule.

Please note the following changes:

• The Word Study list posted on the left side of this blog will be tested on Thursday, Oct. 29, since we were not here on the original test date.
• The due date for completion of mystery novels is 10/26/09. Student were gifted extra time over the long weekend. I'm sure most took advantage of it
• Mystery summaries for hours 1,2 and 3 are due Tuesday Oct27
